Smart Self Storage is dedicated to providing you with the best in customer service. We know that any moving and storage experience can be stressful. We want to make the process as easy as possible. To help, we have answered several of the most common questions. If your questions are not answered here, please feel free to contact your nearest facility and speak to one of our Self Storage Professionals.

How long do I have to sign up for?

We offer month-to-month leases, so there is no long-term lease.

When can I get to my belongings?

Please contact the storage facility nearest to you for further information on specific access hours. Typically, our facilities are open seven days a week except for major holidays.

How much notice must be given when I move out?

We require a 14-day written vacate notice to move-out. Full details on vacating your storage unit will be provided to you at the time of move-in.

Do you have a moving truck for me to use?

Most of our facilities have a moving truck and driver to assist your move-in. Several facilities have a truck that you are able to use yourself. In both circumstances, conditions and restrictions apply.

What forms of payments do you accept?

We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express. Please ask about our credit card auto-pay program. We also accept personal checks and cash payments.

Do you sell Locks, Packing, and Moving supplies?

We sell high-quality locks at a discounted price. We also offer boxes and moving supplies.

Do you have outdoor storage for boats, RVs, and other vehicles?

Yes, we have space for Boats, RVs, Commercial Vehicles, Semi-trailers, Trucks, and Cars at Chino Hills Self Storage in Chino Hills, Harbour Point Self Storage in Elk Grove and Green Valley Road Self Storage in El Dorado Hills, California.
