Dutch Bros Coffee has made it to Southern California! The company has had locations speckled across California for a few years but now they're in full expansion mode. They are opening many new locations from California to Texas and Oklahoma. Lucky for us, Riverside is part of the early expansion!
Even though Chino Hills Self Storage is located in, well, Chino Hills, we're excited that a Dutch Bros is driving range. Between their perfectly-brewed coffee and tea, I suspect us managers and our staff will pop in on the regular.
Dutch Bros Favorites
If you've never had Dutch Bros before, you’re in for a tasty surprise. They are of course well known for their coffee, but they have amazing tea, too. I actually don't drink coffee but I love their tea, and my husband is the opposite. Between the two of us, we're the ideal customer!
There are some favorites that you can start with. Though, I suggest you try a different drink every time you go until you find The One that makes your cares drift away.
Iced Nitro Cold Brew
If you like iced coffee, this one's for you. Nitro-infused coffees are becoming more popular and you'll understand why when you try this drink. It's smooth and creamy. Plus, it's packed with energy for you to kick start your day or give you a much-needed second wind.
Hot Golden Eagle
This sweet goodness is a vanilla and caramel breve with caramel drizzle. It’s sassy, too, with bold espresso, but is even sweeter with half and half, vanilla syrup and caramel sauce. Top it with a dollop of whipped cream and a drizzle of caramel sauce and you have a drink that will raise your energy and lift your spirit.

Dutch Bros has energy drinks too! And they're much better than that canned fuel you buy at a gas station. The Strawberry Rebel is proof that an energy drink can taste like a real drink instead of rocket fuel. It’s blended… and berry yummy.
Dutch Rewards
Dutch Bros is pretty generous with their rewards program. If you join, you get points every time you “Dutch.” Those points turn into free drinks. When you sign up for Dutch Rewards in their app, you get 125 bonus points. That's halfway to your first drink!
If you're drinking there anyway, you might as well earn free drinks, right?!
Dutch Bros App
Speaking of their app, whoever designed it deserves a gold star. It's really easy to use and you can even earn cute little stickers. I know it's silly, but it's the little joys in life right? Who's to say a digital sticker can't brighten your day? Well, that and the caffeine that comes along with it.
Besides the cutesy stuff, the app is really practical, too. You can browse the menu and order your favorites completely contact free.
Dutch Philanthropy
Dutch Bros also has a strong “Give Back” philosophy. A few special days every year, they donate #1 from every drink sold to local and national organizations.
• Dutch Luv Day: Every February, they donate $1 of every drink to local organizations that fight food insecurity.
• Drink One For Dane Day: Raises funds for the Muscular Dystrophy Association to find a cure for ALS, in honor of Dutch's co-founder, Dan Boersma.
• Buck for Kids Day: Every September, funds help local nonprofits that help create brighter futures for local kids.
Dutch Bros also takes extra measures for sustainability and inclusion. Simply put, they're drinks aren't the only good thing about this company.
Ready for a Drink?
Between their yummy drinks and charitable practices, what's not to love? I'll definitely be stopping by whenever I need a pick-me-up. It's only 20 minutes from our storage facility, so I can make it back there and back on my lunch hour. It's worth it… I really like Dutch Bros tea!
Where is the New Dutch Bros in Riverside?
The new Dutch Bros is located in the same shopping center as Smart & Final on Limonite Avenue and Sumner Avenue. You know, that same shopping center that has Miguel's Jr. Mexican Restaurant and Griddle Mongolian Grill.
