We interviewed our manager at our Chino Hills facility, Sandy, who has been with our company for 2 ½ years. In this blog we will be talking about Sandy's experience working for Smart Self Storage in the Greater Chino Valley Area.
Q: What do you like about working at Chino Hills Self Storage?
A: I find great satisfaction in being able to consult and guide customers in making the right decision for their specific needs. I take every opportunity I can to go the extra mile for each one of them so that they feel comfortable and welcome at our facility. I thrive on customer service, it's my number 1 priority. I love people and I want to make a difference in lives that may come across my path, and every day I get that chance here at Chino Hills Self Storage.
Q: How long have you lived in this area?
A: I am a native Californian, most of my life I lived in central California but when I accepted the position with Chino Hills Self Storage I relocated to Chino Hills. It's a beautiful community that still has a small town feel to it. It has beautiful parks as well as local restaurants.
Q: What is your favorite park?
A: I always like to recommend English Springs Park, it's a peaceful park with a beautiful pond and a cascading waterfall. Families can enjoy the picnic areas with a great play area or you may want to just relax in one of the many Gazebos.
Q: What is your favorite restaurant?
A: Chino Hills offers a great choice of restaurants, from popular chains, breakfast houses, tea houses as well as local favorites. My personal favorite, "Roll Em Up Taquitos", where you can choose from assorted filled taquitos with their famous sauce and finish it off with the most amazing churro donut!
Q: What is your favorite place in Chino Hills?
A: I often enjoy a movie at Harkins Theater.
Q: Do you feel that Chino Hills Self Storage is part of the Chino Hills/Chino community?
A: Chino Hills Self Storage has worked very hard to embrace the communities of Chino Hills and Chino. We love our local community! We sponsor sports teams as well as local schools. And when the opportunity arises, we take part in local events. I'm very proud of our customer base, we have kind, respectful customers.
Q: What is something you're proud of regarding Chino Hills Self Storage?
A: Chino Hills Self Storage continues to evolve according to customers' needs. Customers are extremely important to us, so if a need arises, we try to meet that need. Chino Hills Self Storage has a team that offers superb customer service, our Yelp reviews can attest to this.
Q: In what ways does Chino Hills Self Storage help their community other than being a self storage?
A: Each year, we participate in the toy drive during the holidays called Toys4Tots. It is a major event for us every single year, and it is an honor to help those kids and families who need assistance. And, this is just one of the things we participate in in order to help our community. We also support local sports teams and schools!
