We at Chino Hills Self Storage would like to highlight a spa here in Chino Hills. There are many new spas popping up throughout Southern California. Pure Head spa was founded by Betty Do and Ney Do they set out to revolutionize the beauty and wellness industry and it’s rapidly becoming a go-to wellness escape for people who need to recharge, and Pure Head Spa is the place for just that. With soothing scalp massage, deep cleaning, and nourishing care, the head spa offers a quiet reset for both your mind and your body. 

Chino Hills is a small quaint but very busy city; we are a community who work hard in our daily lives and a head spa experience can help ease everyday stress. I can’t really say my job at Chino Hills Self Storage is stressful because I enjoy our customers and everyday I find it very fulfilling to help our customers who are in some kind of transition, but some days can be a physical challenge, so I decided to visit Pure Head Spa for a bit of relaxation.

I did a bit of research so I could make the most of my visit. So here are some tips that may help you. Arrive with an open mind and allow yourself a little extra time so you are not feeling rushed. Avoid heavy styling products before your appointment so the treatment focusses directly on your scalp and hair. Drink plenty of water after your treatment because it is a detox service, and if possible, return home and concentrate on further relaxation.

While services may vary, most head spa sessions are similar. My experience included the following:

Scalp Analysis

Your technician will use a magnifying camera to examine your scalp for dryness, oil buildup, or clogged follicles, from there the technician will customize your treatment.

Deep Cleansing and Exfoliation

Specialized shampoos or clay washes are applied to remove product buildup, dirt, and dead skin cells.

Steam and Nourishment: Warm hair mist or steam therapy is used to open pores, allowing deep conditioning masks and targeted serums to penetrate the hair roots deep within the scalp.

Targeted Massages

During the treatment, you will receive targeted massages to the scalp, neck, shoulders, hands, and arms to relieve muscle tension, this helps stimulate blood flow.

Water Therapy

Continuous, warm soothing water cascades over your scalp and neck to finish off your treatment.

My personal review of my experience: I began to relax the moment I entered the spa; the atmosphere is calmy welcoming. I was directed to an analysis chair and from there I was quietly explained exactly what was needed to rejuvenate my scalp. The treatment began and my mind was transported into a state of bliss and peace. I was somewhat prepared in what to expect but it surpassed what I hoped for, the service was completed with a blow dry. I felt like I could feel my scalp breathing, my vision and sinuses were much more clear, the tension in my neck was gone, I felt so relaxed almost tired but at the same time completely rejuvenated. I highly recommend you try this head spa experience at Pure Head Spa.

Sometimes the best wellness rituals are the simplest ones, everyday our staff here at Chino Hills Self Storage will step away from the computers, we will practice breathing exercises or we will take a quick walk around the facility, breathing in the fresh air and exercising our body helps us to not only re-energize but its keeps us in a calmer state of mind which helps us to give the best customer service which is priority for us. But we now can add to our wellness rituals, Pure Head Spa, a place where we can go to take a deeper pause, a place that will support our relaxation and renewal of body and mind.

By making time for small restorative experiences like this, you can bring a little more balance, calm and comfort into everyday life, when we feel better than we make others feel better, we are in a better state of mind, it helps us to have more self-control and patience in our daily lives.
