Owned by the Martin Family, Backyard Unlimited's founder and owner was raised in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, the country's oldest and largest Amish community. In 2007, Nathan Martin moved to California and started working in the shed industry. He noticed a need in the market for a shed supplier who could offer the high-quality and valuable shed that he remembered from Pennsylvania. He partnered with the Amish people he knew from back home and established California's first local Amish-made shed supplier. With over 20 years in the business, Backyard Unlimited has maintained a reputation for producing the highest quality product at a reasonable price.
