Turlock Self Storage is the most recent addition to the Turlock community and is currently being built from the ground-up. Turlock is the latest addition to the Smart Self Storage family that has been building, owning, and managing self storage facilities for over 40 years. We are a locally-owned business that truly cares about our ever growing communities.
We are thrilled to announce that construction is well underway and that we have just completed site grading and underground work. Our storage building pads are in place, with steel buildings being constructed and the CMU block walls are going up! Little by little, we are starting to see Turlock Self Storage's layout and design. We are excited for you to see it!
We Love and Support Our Communities
Turlock Self Storage only works with local general contractors and local subcontractors to support the local economy in Turlock and Stanislaus County. The vision for this facility has been in the works since late 2019. Fast-forward to 2022, you can see that Smart Self Storage really makes sure that our facilities are beautiful and pristine - no detail ever gets overlooked.
We're looking forward to working on our beautiful concrete drive aisles. We opted for concrete instead of asphalt because we genuinely care about your experience at our facility. A lovely two-story building is also about to be built with the leasing office along with the manager's residential building. Another feature Turlock Self Storage will have is that a manager on-site, ready to assist you with your storage needs. To make everything a little bit more comfortable and easier for you, we will be improving the street in front of our facility. Our facility is all single-story, with many of our units being drive-up (or easily accessible via a short hallway walk).

Even though we will be opening in late summer this year, we are excited to let you know that we are now taking reservations ahead of time. We want to give you the opportunity to get your pick of your ideal unit. With a wide range of units from 5x5 to 20x30, make sure to reserve yours now! We understand how stressful it could be figuring out the perfect unit for you. We are more than happy to understand your needs over the phone and help you reserve the right unit.
