This amazing place serves up comfort food that not only comforts you, it cures you. And despite that Broderick's Roadhouse looks like an old-fashioned dive style restaurant that only serves meat and potatoes meals, that's NOT the case. Not only is every single sauce and most recipes curated by the restaurant’s chefs, those same chefs insist on produce that's organic and purchased locally. For beef eaters, there's nothing more popular than the Johnny Cash Burger; a colossal hamburger as award-worthy as the man-in-black himself. For vegetarians, the cooks have made sure there's a variety of deliciously creative dishes to choose from like vegetarian fried cauliflower. West Sacramento's variety of offerings includes one of the very best family-owned and operated farms you’ll ever visit. Vierra Farms is home to many things including the famous Dave's Pumpkin Patch, a Christmas Tree farm, and Dave's Fresh Produce.
This family run farm is a real testimony to how one person's passion can be passed on from one generation to the next. Vierra Farms owner, Dave Vierra, took the two acres that his grandfather cultivated beginning in 1912 and has grown it into over 800 acres of farm land.
