We are never disappointed by the food, even when we try something new. We bet you'd feel the same way too. You might have a hard time choosing from all of the great options but once you do, the first bite will urge you to try everything on the menu.
The Atmosphere
Upon our first visit to the restaurant, we were sold on the atmosphere before we even tried the food. The first thing you see when you walk in is a big mural that is visually inviting. We couldn't help but take a closer look before we even looked at the menu.
Then, when you choose a booth, you're welcomed with even more Hispanic artwork on the seats. Just the interior of this sweet place is worth the visit alone.
If you prefer to eat outdoors, they offer beautiful stone tables with stone benches covered with colorful umbrellas. So, whether you are inside the restaurant or outside, you can't go wrong with your seating choice.
The Menu
I wish I was able to tell you which is my favorite dish, but I simply can't because everything I have tried quickly becomes my new favorite. But here are a few contenders...
The chicken wet burrito combo is my go-to but do not pass up trying the chorizo and egg breakfast, as well as the massive plate of nachos. And, if you are out and about on a Monday you can enjoy their buy one and get a second one for free!
Alberto's doesn't forget the kiddos either. They offer a perfect selection for the little eaters, because at times it can be difficult choosing a meal for your children at restaurants. They even offer great French fries with choices from chicken nuggets, quesadillas, to customized dishes to help you to feed your children.
By the way, you will be tempted to steal a fry or two because they are that good!!
The Staff
It's a small restaurant with big taste and even bigger personalities with those who greet you. The cheerful staff are quick to greet all who enters. You know they appreciate their customers because they remember their repeat customers and even what they usually order.
The staff is very attentive to their customers. They go the extra mile to make sure you are well taken care of during your visit. Best of all, they work as a team, which makes their service flow like a well-oiled machine.
Things to Do Nearby
Alberto's also has location, location, location going for it. It’s just off the 71 freeway on Chino Avenue. It's right next to Harkins Theater with plenty of parking around it. So, it's easy to get to and easy to park.
Being next door to Harkins is an obvious plus. Dinner and a movie anyone?
It's also located near Cold Stone Creamery. Although, I'd be surprised if your stomach still has room after filling up on Alberto's delicious food.
Daiso is just across the way, too. If you're not familiar with Daiso, it's a very affordable shop filled with cute and nifty Japanese products. From crafts to housewares to snacks, they have it all. And it's all at a great price!
I love popping into Daiso whenever I get the chance. And that chance happens every time I eat at Alberto's. It's a great way to spend your lunch break.
Thank God it's Friday
We at Chino Hills Self Storage often like to end our week at Alberto's. We can enjoy our favorite dish along with an ice-cold drink. Then, we step out the door and right into Harkins Movie Theater. It makes for a perfect evening of relaxation after a satisfying week of serving our customers.
