Back for More
What's up everyone! Welcome back to another food spot feature! If you remember our last blog on Eastside Italian Deli, you already know we were fans. Well…we had to go back. And this time? Even better.

Lunchtime Energy Near Dodger Stadium
This visit was my first time personally trying it, and right away, you could feel the energy. We stopped by during lunch and the place was absolutely bustling. The line moved quick, but you could tell this wasn't just a random crowd, there were tons of people coming in straight from work. A lot of them had Dodger Stadium badges and uniforms, which made total sense given how close it is. It felt like one of those go-to local spots where people know they're getting something good.

Even with the crowd, the staff was moving fast and keeping things flowing. There's something about that kind of environment, it's busy, a little loud, but in a good way. You know you're about to get something worth the wait.
The Sandwich That Spoke for Itself
This time around, I went with the #7 hot roast beef and pastrami with cheese, peppers, and tomato sauce. Let me just say…this sandwich was no joke. It came out stacked, hot, and dripping with flavor. The roast beef and pastrami combo was rich and savory, and the tomato sauce tied everything together perfectly. The peppers added just enough kick without overpowering it.
The only challenge? Figuring out how to hold it.
Seriously, it was one of those sandwiches where you just kind of accept that it's going to get messy and go for it anyway. And honestly, that's how you know it's good.

Simple Food, Done Right
We also grabbed a pasta with sausage, and this one surprised me. It looked super simple, nothing flashy, nothing over the top, but the flavor was so solid. The sausage had that perfect seasoning, and the sauce was rich without being heavy. It's one of those dishes that reminds you that simple, done right, always wins.
That's kind of the thing with Eastside Italian Deli. It’s not trying to be trendy or overcomplicated. It’s just good food, done consistently well, and people keep coming back for it.

Why It Feels Familiar
And honestly, that's something we relate to at Los Angeles Self Storage. People might come to us for something simple, just a place to store their belongings, but they stay because of the experience, the service, and the consistency. It's the same kind of local, reliable feel you get walking into Eastside. There's value in being a place people can count on.
A Quick Stop After: Coffee Run in Chinatown

After all that food, we needed something to balance it out, so we made a quick stop over in Chinatown at Thank You Coffee. It's more of a grab-and-go drink spot, but honestly, it's such a vibe.
I ordered a hojicha latte, and we also got a tea refresher, both were super refreshing and exactly what we needed after a heavy meal. The hojicha had that nice roasted flavor, not too sweet, just smooth and easy to drink.

What really stood out though was the shop itself. They had all these cute little tchotchkes from Japan, and it was honestly so fun just looking around while waiting for our drinks. It's one of those places that feels small but memorable.
It was my first time there, and I'd definitely go back.

Final Thoughts
That's kind of the thing with spots like Eastside Italian Deli and little finds like Thank You Coffee. They're not trying to be overly trendy, they're just good at what they do, and people keep coming back for that.

If you're ever near Dodger Stadium around lunchtime, Eastside is a must. And if you find yourself in Chinatown after, definitely swing by Thank You Coffee for a quick pick-me-up.
Until next time…stay hungry!
