Northpoint At Delaney Park

Beautiful New Communities Rising up in Oakley

|

It's always a good sign when new homes rise up in your neighborhood, and Oakley could not be more excited to see the number of beautiful homes popping up everywhere, offering lots of amenities, spacious floor plans and beautiful home designs.

Although I'm sure there are more, I'd like to highlight three homebuilders offering new homes in Oakley: Brookside Residential's Laurel and Citrus off Cypress Rd. (at Emerson Ranch), D.R. Horton's Northpoint at Delaney Park, also off Cypress Rd., and Seeno Home's Duarte Ranch Estates, located off Rose Ave. in Oakley.

And with these new homes, comes the need for extra storage, in case a family is downsizing in square footage or maybe the new home purchase will exclude the kids who will be marching off to the big university in the fall. Either way, new neighbors are moving in and storage needs will be met with a smile at Cypress Self Storage.

Emerson Ranch

Emerson Ranch Oakley

I had the opportunity to connect with these new developments in the neighborhood, just down the street from Cypress Self Storage on Cypress Rd., the first of which, called Emerson Ranch with two developments Laurel and Citrus – under the homebuilder Brookfield Residential.

A simplified life along the picturesque California Delta, this new home development is a place where days are filled with the sweet sights and sounds of kids at play and nights are blanketed with brilliant stars. These charming homes are affordably priced with bigger yards and comforting amenities, a place where families can plant roots and make plans against a landscape big enough to hold their dreams.

The homes are surrounded by a mature Emerson Ranch Park and Lake and the developer offers a variety of floor plans, quality construction, an exceptional customer service team and tons of options to personalize your home. Options are great, but yes, they do cost extra!

With open floor plans, I discovered the homes start in the high $500,000, where families have plenty of room to stretch and grow at Laurel, in brand new homes ranging from 2,228 to 3,564 square feet. With up to six bedrooms and four bathrooms, there's plenty of space for everyone. Their open designs feature large great rooms, which make it easy to host parties, whether it's with extended family, neighbors or the kids' teammates.

Emerson Ranch in Oakley comes with a sense of community and relaxed way of life. The picturesque lake and Community Park lead to relaxing afternoons, while the soccer field, baseball diamond and basketball half-court are always fun ways to stay active with friends. This is a place of a different pace, that’s for sure.

Emerson Ranch has won The Best of Oakley Gold Award for the last three years and Emerson Ranch is also up for several awards at the Excellence in Home Building Awards.

I've always been one to visit new model homes and bring my camera to get great decorating ideas! Well, you'll find a ton of ideas here at these homes! Once you walk through all the models, you will find that Emerson Ranch – at both Laurel and Citrus – offer spacious gourmet kitchens, outdoor California rooms perfect for year round entertaining, pool-sized yards, 3-car garages, a beautiful community park and lake and all in close proximity to schools.

D.R. Horton's Northpoint at Delaney Park

Northpoint at Delaney Park

Next, I toured D.R. Horton’s latest development called Northpoint at Delaney Park, also located off Cypress Rd. It offers spacious collections in the heart of the Delta as well - four, two-story home designs with up to four bedrooms, three bathrooms and two-car garage floor plans. Once completed, Delaney Park will be centered around a beautiful lake and playground, tot lots, picnic areas, walking nature trails and basketball courts. By the way, did you know that our Delta waterways is over 1100 miles long and spans from Sacramento down east towards Stockton? Just thought I'd throw that in!

What's great about these new homes in Oakley, is that you are minutes away from transportation services such as the Tri Delta Transit bus system and Bay Area Rapid Transit (BART), historic parks and recreation such as Golden Gate Park in San Francisco, Mount Diablo and Black Diamond Mines and the Round Valley hiking trails.

Also, immediately nearby is the Big Break Regional Shoreline. It's a place to learn about our Delta in the visitor center and is also home to 70 species of birds and several species of animals. Once an upland farm, now submerged, the center overlooks a small estuary, where the salty ocean water meets fresh water from snowmelt, the runoff from our Sierra Nevada mountains.

Known as "America's Builders," Donald R. (D.R.) Horton and his team have delivered more than 690,000 homes to their customers since their company's inception in 1978 in Forte Worth Texas. Oakley is honored to have them build on their Delta soil.

Seeno Homes - Duarte Ranch Estates

Seeno Homes Duarte Ranch Estates Oakley

Last, but not least, Seeno Homes' Duarte Ranch Estates offers homebuyers four to six bedrooms with three to four baths with ample square footages ranging from 2,224 to 2,960 with pricing starting at $575,000. Located at the corner of Laurel Rd. and Rose Ave. (entrance on Rose Ave.), Seeno Homes boasts the highest of standards in craftsmanship.

I thought it was pretty forward thinking as well to offer many money saving energy efficient features as well to include, prepped for solar panels, cool roof systems, whole house fans in addition to air conditioning for cooling, dual glazed vinyl framed windows and sliding glass doors, efficient forced air furnace with zoning, energy efficient tankless, water heater, prepped for future electric vehicle charging station, water efficient front yard landscaping with automatic sprinkler system and occupant vacancy sensor in bathrooms!

The occupant vacancy sensor is the best, because I can't tell you how many times I'm reminded to turn the lights off when leaving rooms! And while I know it's only in the bathrooms, it's one less thing you have to think about - right?

Okay, so don't take my word for it - see these model homes, community parks and amenities for yourself! Bring your camera and also a light snack, because you're gonna be a while!
