Moving and storage can take a lot of effort and energy. We are here to make things easy and fun. Fun times await in the Tri Delta area!
When you think of "wine country" in the San Francisco Bay Area, typically you think of Napa or Sonoma - and the long trek north to drive there! You might even think of Livermore, which is not quite the trek, but wouldn't it be nice to drive less than a half hour for elegant tastings of top-notch wines in a beautiful pastoral setting?
Well, your wish granted. It shouldn't surprise you to know that right in the Tri Delta area, which is already well-known for some of the Bay Area's best produce, are some really excellent vineyards and wineries. The following are just a few:
Hannah Nicole Vineyards
This beautiful vineyard and winery is in the heart of the Tri Delta area, and its wines have won many awards since 2006. The facility hosts a summer concert series for which you can buy individual tickets, or the whole series at a discount. The series VIP package for $375 includes early entry, a blanket for the season, one meal, a bottle of wine, and a logo wine glass for each concert.
Besides the summer concert series, there are regular events throughout the year, including Thirsty Thursdays which take place the first Thursday of each month. For $20, you get a meal of your choice plus one glass of wine. Check the website regularly for other events. Hannah Nicole also offers its beautiful site for weddings, offering a variety of packages for your special day.
While you can purchase bottles at the winery, you can also join the Wine Club and order bottles online on their online wine shop as well.

Tamayo Family Vineyards
Sara and Jeff Tamayo founded their winery over 10 years ago. The signature wines are named after their grandchildren. Its flagship estate grown red, CANA, especially the syrah, is magnificent. The origin of the CANA names comes from the ancient city of Cana that during a wedding feast, water was miraculously turned into wine. While the wine list is not extensive, it is very good indeed.
As with the other wineries, you can plan your wedding at Tamayo, and private tours of the winery are also available.

Newberry Estate Vineyards
If you love Cabernet Sauvignon then you will enjoy Newberry Estate's Mourvèdres' full bodied explosion of dark fruit flavors. According to the web site, "It's a rustic wine that originated in Spain. Rumor has it that the seafaring Phoenicians brought it over as early as 500 B.C. Seemingly obscure, Mourvèdre is actually used quite often as a blending grape in popular wines such as Châteauneuf du Pape. It's one of the major grapes of the Rhône along with Grenache and Syrah."

Besides an amazing cab, Newberry Estates boasts event packages for weddings and other special events, and a game room package featuring billiards, foosball, shuffleboard, arcade machines, and more.

Petersen Vineyards
Petersen Vineyards was founded in 2012, and in 2014 their now famous Diablo Sunset made its debut. This award-winning wine is a blend of Zinfandel and Petite Sirah grapes.
Besides Diablo Sunset, Petersen features a variety of other award-winning wines and ports available through the wine store. There's a wine club available for discounts and other benefits such as first access to new releases and exclusive vintages

Campos Family Vineyards
Ric and Michelle Campos live on their 44-acre Byron vineyards, which harvest a variety of reds, white and sparkling wines, available for tasting in the tasting room or on their online store. Like the other wineries, you can rent the venue for corporate events, weddings and other life events. If you enjoy playing kickball, you can register your team to play at Campos Family Vineyards. And there are regular special events that include food, music, shopping, dancing, and, of course, wine.

CoCo County Wine Company
Perhaps you just want to sit at one place indoors and sample some of these and even more of the Tri Delta's local wines without even getting back in your car. Then take a visit to the CoCo County Wine Company.
Open since 2007, the wine bar and tasting room features over 35 local wines and wines from other regions for tasting, by the glass or by the bottle. They also carry several beers on tap, and beers by the bottle. This homey wine bar also hosts live music on Friday and Saturday nights, and once a month is Pint Night, featuring a local brewery and live music. This facility is also available for rent for business networking groups, book club meetings or other special occasions and celebrations.
